Statement from the board of the Macedonian Alliance regarding the Galichnik photo documentary present on the MA website.

The following is an insert from the Galichnik wedding photo documentary that we have on our website (borrowed from the 'Reality Macedonia'
website). If you read it carefully you will notice the following sentence:

"The disco (which in fact looked as a hamburger-making hall), on the other hand, blasted vulgar Serbian turbo-folk, totally out of sync with the general atmosphere and the spirit of the place. Unfortunately, lack of facilities, such as public toilets, forced the visitors to enter these establishments nevertheless".

Its a shame that even on a day when one of our most outstanding cultural symbols is in full light, with all of Macedonia aware of its importance, some sad idiot that opens the so called only disco in Galichnik once a year plays Serbian/Gypsy turbo-folk rubbish that is only good for the visual effects it provides with many of its female singer wearing nothing but a few centimeters of clothing on their body. That's a prime example of how not to build a country and the patriotism that sustains its existence, especially in a region such as the Balkans where nationalism and country-hood go hand in hand. As usual no one with real authority cares about such a disrespectful act.
No wonder why we are lacking in the Balkans when it comes to nation building and sustaining our nation and the land that it lives on.

This is very similar to the shameful act that occurred in last years Ilinden celebrations in Krushevo when in full view of the political brass (who were present at the concert) Tose Proeski sang a few of his songs in Serbian that were custom made for the Serbian market. How more unpatriotic could somebody be? Our most popular singer, sings and promotes his music in Serbian (customized from the Serbian market) on our most sacred day and on our most treasured site and not only in front of screaming teenage girls who's only real idea of Ilinden is that they miss out on school but in front of our Prime Minister and 'so-called' political elite (Branko Crvenkovski was PM at the time). After 500 years of Ottomon-Muslim rule we stood up and showed all of Europe that we do exist and that we, same as all the other people in the old continent are an entity that deserves to rule its rightful land and take control of its own destiny. And here is Tose promoting himself by blatantly denying the Macedonian language and promoting the language of a nation that doesn't recognise our church and in that, does not recognise our self right to exist as an independent nation (even though the Macedonian nation and its people are far older that the Serbian establishment). It's really sad to see such a sight.

Maybe Tose could cleanse his unpatriotic wrong doing and host a few concerts in Struga/Kicevo and encourage and help stimulate the citizens of both towns to not give in to the territorial divide that SDSM and the Siptar DUI party are constructing. It seems to me that when he is abroad and conducts concerts such as the ones in Australia, he is full of patriotism but back home he shows very little interest. Australian dollars and other Western currencies seem to awake the patriotism inside him. Like a prostitute in a brothel who sells herself for money with no moral or human integrity.

SDSM have once again showed that their personal interest comes before their nation and its people and that for them, Macedonia is only a career path in to European institutions and Western life. The DUI terrorists on the other hand are promoting how they are for Macedonia while setting up majority rule in Western Macedonia so when they receive the signal from their fellow Siptari in Kosovo to separate they do it with much ease.

This is the first monthly comment by the MA board members. Each month the MA website will post an editorial article on topics, which relate to our ancestral homeland and here within the Macedonian community in Australia.
